The Las Vegas landscape will change over the next few years due to the team of Steve Wynn and Crystal Lagoons, a Miami based company. The landscape will become a 38-acre crystal lagoon that will be surrounded by beaches that can be enjoyed with friends and family. This lagoon will the be the center of a development that will include a new hotel, casino, meeting and convention space, and dining and nightlife venues as well. This plan is thought to help reinvent the Las Vegas Strip to bring in more tourists.

Crystal Lagoon Las Vegas

“We have a chance to reinvent Las Vegas and make the whole venue an entertainment attraction…an idyllic beach paradise surrounded by white sand beaches,” said Steve Wynn chairman and CEO of Wynn Resorts. “People come to Las Vegas from all over the world to live large and have a good time and we can dish up an irresistible entertainment attraction.”

Future Features of the Crystal Lagoon

The amazing attraction will have entertainment elements during the daytime and nighttime. From a mesmerizing fireworks display nightly to the white-sand beaches that can be enjoyed during the day, this space will offer fun and entertainment to people of every age. Water sports, swimming and more will be offered to give the features of beach life to those who visit Las Vegas.

The Crystal Lagoon will be constructed where the Wynn Golf Club is located, if the board approves, and will be the size of more than 30 football fields. This is something that Wynn believes will give the strip more appeal to bring in more money for the city. This can mean more people moving to the area as more jobs will become available and this will translate to more home sales. Especially in Las Vegas, this all works together to make its mark on real estate and more.
